For this project we were asked to create a piece of sequential work, either a graphic strip or a short animatic, to introduce the viewer to a celebrity from the past century. I was given Fanny Cradock.
Before reaching high status as one of the first tv cooks, Fanny Cradock was a writer. Around the time of this project i was figuring out a technique of making images by just using a typewriter. I put two and two together and got this. The animation was made entirely on a typewriter.
The Big Time was a program on BBC back in the day on which Fanny pritty much ended her career by being horribly critical of an amateur cook.
